10 February 2023, Bangkok – Dr. Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, President/CEO of Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), along with Dr. Kasititorn Pooparadai, Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP), Strategy and Management Unit, hosted a conference to launch the Digital Economy Promotion Master Plan (2023-2027) with the participation of over 160 people from more than 60 organizations.
The depa President/CEO provided an overview of the current situation, depa's role, and the Digital Economy Promotion Master Plan (2023-2027), which was followed by Dr. Kasititorn's presentation on the organization's vision, mission, and four strategies including 1) Strategy 1: Transform human capital for the digital economy and society 2) Strategy 2: Transform traditional economy into high-value digital economy 3) Strategy 3: Build new opportunities and inclusive economic development 4) Strategy 4: Optimize use of digital infrastructure. Dr. Kasititorn also proposed a synergistic collaboration among government agencies, educational institutions, the private sector, and related associations. The participants discussed several ideas and agreed on the mechanism proposed by depa to advance Thailand's digital economy.
