Game Concept:
"After World Recipes" or "AWR" is a game that was initially created as a university project under the topic designated by the university as "ESG." Due to the assigned topic, the game had to be related to "Organizational Management with a focus on environmental awareness, collaboration within the organization, and administration." The objective was to create a game with a unique and unfamiliar concept, and thus the concept was formulated as follows: It is a survival game where players are not brave heroes or leaders but ordinary individuals. Players cannot survive on their own but must help others and receive assistance in return.
Game Story: In the game, players will assume the role of the protagonist, who grew up with a father who enjoys camping and cooking, and a mother who is a biologist. Several decades later, the world is engulfed in a nuclear war. The people in the city have to take refuge in a bunker located in a park, including the protagonist's family. Later on, the city is devastated by nuclear weapons, and radiation spreads widely. People are unable to leave the bunker for many years due to their country's defeat in the war and the government's cessation of aid. The inhabitants of the bunker agree to send volunteer units to explore the outside world. The protagonist's parents join as volunteers, driven by their desire to help people, but they mysteriously disappear. The protagonist decides to take on the role of a chef in the next exploration group, in order to carry on their parents' spirit.
Gameplay:
Players will assume the role of a "Chef," one of the surviving members in the settlement, who has the skill to cook with unfamiliar mutated ingredients that no one is familiar with. Players must survive by going on expeditions outside the camp and collecting ingredients, then preparing and distributing food to other members. They must also provide support to different factions to ensure the survival and development of the settlement.
